CIC YOUTH LEADERSHIP SUMMER CAMP

 Sunday, August 17 at 12 noon, through Saturday, August 23 at 12 noon
at
Beautiful Long Bay Camp at Westport, Ontario

Located 120 km from Ottawa, 73 km from Kingston, 298 km from Toronto,and 289 km from Montreal

Who:Male and Female Muslim applicants between the ages of 17 and 27 will be accepted on a first-come,
      first-served basis: maximum camp capacity is 35 men and 35 women.Two camp compounds will be 
      allocated for men and another two for women. Campers must adhere to Islamic etiquette at all times.

Rates:Cost is $290.00 Cdn. per person (includes accommodation, food and camp program)and must be 
        paid in full with application. Cancellations up to June 1 will be assessed a $50.00 service fee.
        NO refunds will be granted for cancellations received after July 1.

Program:The 2008 camp program will include recreational sports, swimming (separate times for men and women)
       and group discussions lead by top experts on Islam and Islamic Civilization, Canadian History and Media,
       Canadian Political and Legal Systems, Leadership Skills and Public Speaking, Goal-setting for success, etc.
       Contests will also be held for poetry, articles, short stories, etc.

Certificate:A certificate of completion will be offered to participants.
